Outfit Post #7: Rocktober

Hai!

I am pleased to know it is a throwback of friendly day to work and go out for fun. No rain still, no heavy wind, no extreme heat, all the clouds chillax. ... or maybe it is just because I am in the air-conditioned room.

Not an unusual look for me but still seem nice, lace blouse is such a nice choice to put on with black denim bolero to give some rock style for rocking this Satnite ahahah. :D

Talking about lace, it is easy to take care in my opinion, since lace must be washed by hand with cool water, and I've told you before that I hand-wash my clothes all this time. It is important not to wring it hard to prevent the lace netting from being torn apart, which for some cases it would make clothes look not good instead of being awesome.

Well, some diamonds don't shine.

I'm missing my long hair that I can make a good loose braid for hair styling. However, I am the one who is responsible of being careless to my own hair. I always forgot to use any kind of hair care after shampooing Making a beautiful braided hair is one of great tips when you have a sleek hair.

What I wear (from Top): Thrifted black denim bolero | Thrifted vintage lace blouse | Thrifted black legging.

Absurd Culinary: Fish & Co. Central Park Jakarta

Time for Flashback Friday!

On google, I have seen some reviews for this dining place in Bahasa Indonesia, so it comes to my mind like, why don't I just write in English? Hey, I'm reasonable for this: practicing my skill. :D

I and bf likes trying some dishes we have never tasted before when we go out for date. Shopping is not really my thing (also not his thing haha) and not all movies are interesting for us to watch. Therefore, culinary stuff is a wonderful choice to enjoy the time, either it's heavy meal, snack or beverage. Why do we look for vacant seats while we have free place to sit and chit chat and have fun with food?p I think that's why we weight gains from. But... but those menus are tempting sometimes! *blaming food* X'D

We went to Central Park without a certain decision what to eat. Before the day, we have had dinner at Manhattan Fish Market for few times. Even though it didn't make us bored, we saw a similar kind of dish served in a resto called Fish & Co. and there we tried new dishes for the first time.

Waiting for the dishes :3

Fish & Co. is a casual styled restaurant that serves fresh seafood with their slogan "One bite and you're hooked!" We were wondering if we're gonna be "hooked". Hmm...

The Best Fish & Chips In Town IDR 85,000

Fish & Chips
Served in a pan, this was my evening meal, fish & chips made of dori fish fried with flour and bread crumbs combined with fries and lemon cut. The waitress also gave me mayonaisse and chili sauce. The crumbs were crunchy, and the fish was so tender it melted on my mouth, yet it was a little bit salty. Yellowish sauce over there? I thought that was melted cheese. It had no taste on my tongue, maybe it was blended in when I chewed the dori. Oh, those fries are tasty enough and added better flavour with sauces. I didn't do anything with the lemon so I just left it stay on the pan lol.

Shrimp & Clam Aglio Olio IDR 79,000

Aglio Olio
It was my bf choice. Aglio Olio - or simply said pasta stirred up with fresh shrimps and clams. The waitress said it was spicy (that was the reason why he chose it) but not really, since it only used chili powder. He asked her for more chili and told me to taste if it was spicy. It was red, but actually not gonna burn your tongue.

Blackcurrant Tea (Free Refill) IDR 28,000

Iced Tea!
Iced fruit-flavored tea was a sweet match to refresh our tongues after tasting seafood. It was served in a big glass without handle, which I thought the glass was small like I use at home lol. The flavor reminded me of a tea bag brand... or maybe they really use the product? Lol.

Service : 9 / 10
Taste     : 7 / 10
Place     : 8 / 10

It was a good enough dining experience there. If you ask whether we will come back more often, we still prefer going to the previous resto (the first I have mentioned, remember?). However, I couldn't agree more about the generous portion!

Last pictures and done ;D

They have menu which you can take a look on their web fish-co.co.id. It is good to check if you are willing to eat there so you won't waste your time deciding which one you would like to try. If you're a moslem and look for a good place to eat, you can try it since they claim to be a halal resto.

Disclaimer: I am not paid to do this stuff. I write this from my truly opinion and I know everyone has different culinary taste, so if you are interested you can go try by your own.

Outfit Post #6 : Black Is Not Boring

Hoooo finally Indonesia reaches its summer even it is still under 35°C it feels hot~~

The daylight seems very normal. I see the sun smiles so bright in the morning that it can melt everything on the ground, for example, this liquifiable creature.

It is so hot that the cat has melted.
Source from 9gag.com
Back to the story, I am still working on weekends except Sundays. The heat in the air makes me too lazy to match any outfit to the office, because first, you will not have a cool look with sweaty tops and sweaty smell around your body (unless you are on vacation like at beach or, or whatever), and second, it takes times longer to the laundry. Ha yeah I wash them by hands. No washing machine allowed.

So I said to myself, "Let's find a quick way-to-go piece to wear!" while digging a messy clothes heap in my closet. Pull one, two, three, until I got a black thing and I remembered this is the t-shirt my bf bought for me. :D

Dress up in 10 minutes and way to go!

What I wear: ADA men t-shirt | thrifted black denim | studded handband in black | fancy watch (buy it from my friend) | silver titanium ring (from bf) | thrifted black flat shoes with bows

Eye Makeup: The Skinfood Rice Concealer #23 | NYX Matte Eyeshadow In The Buff (Upper Lid) | Sariayu Martha Tilaar Moistpome Eyeshadow Bena Nusa Tenggara (Lower Lid, only took the brown shadow)

Epstein-Barr Virus Infection (Week 2)

If you are confused about what happened, make sure you have read the Week 1 first :)

8/22/2015
Please don't ask if I'm okay. I've been dead before you just realized that I'm gone, so what you might find is my rotten body. Too late.

.
.
.
.
.

Lol jk because better news is brought to you this Caturday :D
*ba dum tss*

I think I've chosen the right antivirus. FYI, I took Acyclovir 400mg at first, then changed it yesterday with Methisoprinol 500mg. The fucking ultimate urticaria starts fading and/or darken very slowly but this time I can see the difference in some body parts so I boost the progress with Acyclovir cream or Gentamicin sulfate and medicated skin powder also to prevent the itchiness. This symptom is what makes me bothered the most, so it should be gone very soon. I've consumed many kinds of anti-allergies and antihistamin like Insidal, Celestamine, Loratadine, Deksametason, even Activated Carbon. I feel less fatigue than before. I can speak with a little opened mouth. Papayas, pears and coconut water help me keep hydrating my lips. My ulcers keep being smaller as I always treat it after eat, yet the gums look fragile enough. I haven't had toothbrush for days. At least I can gargle. :v If miracle does exist, I should be recovered at rate 70-80% tomorrow.

I have them all over ma bodeeeh! Aaaaaa!!

Aaaand duh. If you see this tedious chronology as a complain, you get it all wrong. I'm not complaining. I'm telling facts what I have been through and I appreciate so much you guys who have spent your time reading this pieces of shit. If you are kind of "seeing is believing" people, well I thought I've been using descriptive style so far in my writing so I hope you can optimize your brain usage for some creative thinking and do some research on what we call a technology named google. I'll repost it all perfectly arranged on my blog when I feel much better. Sorry for being sarcastic as I feel unstable during quarantine phase, but I love it. *Hozier-Take Me To Church played*

8/23/2015
Let's worship the magic conch shell because at last, I had had my first warm shower. Ululululululu~ X'D It takes conclusion that I don't need to worry about bacteria multiplying anymore, since I've forgot the last time when I was scratching my back while sleeping.

This virus is kinda destructive for your body skin. It was a smooth back T_T

I walked through a path shone by sunlight(Uuuyeaah like Edward Cullen facing the sun scene lol), there I saw clearly all these iritated skin areas are about to remain as brown scars and hence assign me into a playful beauty mission: home skincare remedies for many purposes.
Think it's a good start for today. :)

8/24/2015
Subject Y entered the shower room at 07:00 A.M. Cold water fallen on the subject body, soap indicated good cleansing,  sense of itchiness was nil, signs of hives growth wasn't found. Bathing trial successfully done.

Feeling fit enough to breath, I tried my luck to go back finishing my work. I wore mask or kerchief, mittens, arm warmer or hand band, socks, anything to cover the scars in case I got blamed for infecting someone (you know, smartass mouths blabber everywhere :v). I also took sanitizer and medicines I have to take for approximately 2 days more. But hey, what if someone was indeed infected? Haahaaa >:))

I did everything in slow motion. Walking like a snail, having lunch like granny, stepping upstairs and downstairs with heavy breathing (I work at the 4th floor), then sleeping on the desk few times when my eyes and hands were tired of seeing and writing numbers.

It was 5 P.M. , my boyfriend took me home and afterwards I felt the muscles pain come back, not too bad but it hurt enough just to touch myself. It was like fibromyalgia, if you have ever dealt with this kind of pain. I was afraid it would be hurt more, so I went bed much earlier after having a little dinner.

If only I didn't have to work, I would have stayed longer at home.

8/25/2015
It happens. Alack, I'm relapsed. The pain kills me that I can't even clap my own shoulder or put my bag (or lighter thing) on my lap. I've been out of medicines from the doctor. I have prepared paracetamol as the analgesic but I don't take it in the end. Come on, 9 days of consuming medical things into your tummy through your throat is surely such a bitter memory. I choose to reduce my conciousness soon. That's all for today.

8/27/2015
Good to know that sleeping is the right thing I do to recover at nights (and days during work, I do it when I have to)! The painful parts get warm at first when I'm taking a good rest, then the pain fades eventually since relapse, so my assumption is my body is trying to heal itself without any help of medicine. Cool, that's cool natural mechanism, isn't it? *like I don't know I'm human being* :3

8/28/2015
Yes this is the day! Thank god, proudly said by me that I am totally in a good shape - normal shape tbh. LOL. There is no problem in moving body parts - I can walk, run, step upstairs and downstairs like usual and no difficulty in nomnomnom-ing snackies. All I have now is common pimples, fading brown scars, and a great hype of paperworks.

Now we're going to end this with gratitude. *drumrolls*

I can't express more than being thankful to my mom, dad and my boyfriend for treating me nonstop until post isolation. I appreciate the doctor so much who has taken care and given simple advices. Thanks to my high school friends, my college mates, Gramps at Idaho for supporting me, and there is a girl friend from Facebook giving me medical information. Thank you. :D Enough for the drama now let's go back to the habitat! XD

Bitch please, I'm back.

I consciously understand this is not such a heavier disease like heart attack, kidney malfunction, stroke or whatsoever. This is definitely a viral infection which attacks weak immune system that can be treated safely at home with proper medical care and less contact from the outside, or else, it can sentence anyone to uglier disease. Most adults have EBV in their body with or without realizing it - it may include you. I've ever had problem with this virus a year ago and it transformed into mononucleosis infectiosa. Once it attacked your body, the virus lives in your body in inactive status (in other words, it sleeps in one of your body cells), and there is big possibility for being reactive until your immune system weakens again, and you never know what disease it will create. When one is treated not in a hospital, it doesn't mean that the causes are trivial. Never underestimate any virus and disease.

The DIY tips for curing EBV infection is summarized enough here.
I forgot the source, but you can search it on google,

Epstein-Barr Virus Infection (Week 1)

Yo.
Wanna hear pre-halloween story?
The story began when I was working like usual until there was something odd to feel.
Let's just to the point...

Warning:
This is going to be disgusting enough, may not be safe for your-before-lunch lol. This is absolutely not FX make up practice.

Darken lips, check.

8/14/2015
I name this August as Medical Month. There ain't no flu and cough, but it is indeed a tough period. My right leg got hit by a stupid motorcycler on the way back home with my boyfriend and it's swollen darkish blue. Two weeks before, there were bruises on random spots that also caused by my anemia and I had to give heparin sodium therapy. Aaaand today the doctor declared Epstein-Barr / EBV attacked my immune system. This is the second time with the same common virus. I'm feeling my lips bigger like Bratz's. About red rashes on face, I know it's not common pimples. My body muscles go all in pain even though I don't make any move (touch my skin and it fucking HURTS) and it is quite CONTAGIOUS that makes me think many times to not to go working. Fuck the job - even one move can definitely ruin my sleep. Antivirus is my best friend now.

You'll find out what's inside the cover. Keep scrolling!

Writing with all muscles in pain,

Katarina Yuri.

8/17/2015
It was supposed to be a normal Independence Day but there was a sudden massive gang fight throwing firecrackers in my living district. An excellent idea to burn the town, idiots. Mom was almost stuck between the fight when she was buying medical needs for me. Everything didn't look fine and anyway I had to be given award: The Beast of the Day. Ha! I scared a group of foolish children. I came out from the quarantine zone only for toiletry needs and once morning sunbathe to kill any rash bacteria and that was the time when they were playing, so I could feel their curious eyes watching with little mumbling mouths to their parents. The two lines of Lazy Song lyric by Bruno Mars show what I only can do for days, but this viral infection gives me the feeling of drastic fatigue. Anyway, there is something wrong with the medical treatment.

This is the "wrong" thing. It is called Angioedema.

8/18/2015
While the deads are zombie-fied, it is funny that this disease is like making friends with the antivirus I drank lol - you name it, allergy-fied, which causes Urticaria (click here for Bahasa Indonesia). I can't go working unless I'll be an epic epidemic at office. I was forced to sleep without moving due to painful muscles. I hold as much as I can to not to scratch the itches like a lousy cat. Mom and uncle laughed at my lips because it had been adopted first by Naughty store mascot, or nearly like a failed silicon injection. I hardly eat for getting severe ulcers on the whole mouth and sore throat. I can't even smile because my lips are extremely dry and full of curse. In other words, I'm trying so hard to speak with this infectious Bratz lips, but my dad called me by phone to see if I'm okay. Genius. I just answered "ennghhh" to let him know I was there and declined the call then I saw him at the front door bringing medicines. Err... =_=" All of this created emotional pressure that made got menstruation two times in a month, and the doctor said, "Yes, that comes from your mind." Big thanks to EBV.

Itchy urticaria - Wait, you haven't seen the worst part.

What you are seeing now: The ugliest mutated beast ever.

8/19/2015
It's been five days of infection plus allergy. It was a big decision to cancel a formal invitation from the college English club, unless I'll be the mother virus during the event. No rashes on face anymore, so I look fresh at a glance until you see my whole red spots on body lol. I still suffer from fatigueness but I'm doing nothing. My lips are still extremely chapped with white ulcers which took about less than 45 mins to eat a normal portion of chicken porridge this morning. Becoming worse, my boyfriend accompanied me to see the doctor last evening and he gave me two kinds of anti-allergy to minimize the side effect from antivirus. I lately realized my swollen leg was healed, still get used to walk normally. Now there left some little bruises I can take care of, but the former swollen area and the scar I got from the previous accident is now a viral field of itchy urticaria. Haha. Who wants to scratch? It's free. >:D

I'm trying so hard not to scratch any single spot. *biting fingers*

8/20/2015
Has anyone been following this crap? Sorry if it is such a disturbance, but I know many of you (will) never notice these posts. I'm not gonna stop writing since just in case I need it for medical report and suggestion.

All this time, the medical treatment shows a little progress. Bratz lips no more, mouth ulcers grew more. From the edge to the other edge of my lips, upper and lower in inner part, some white dots on the gums and tongue, and inner side of right cheek. I know, YIKES. But it is a bit better that today I could eat a bowl of oatmeal mixed with dice cuts of fermented soybean aka tempe for 35 mins. The dryness starts being hydrated by snacking papayas (Jesus I hate its aroma but I have no choice). Albothyl and Borax Glycerin really help to calm the sores, although I have to scream during the medication. Do not imagine.

In case you may be wondering how I eat my food.
The bad thing is I'm still suffering from urticaria as long as I consume the antivirus, even though the doctor had given me good anti-allergies, because it don't work optimally. They minimize the side effect every time I take the antivirus, and they cure the previous allergy in the meantime, which already spreads too wide. I got many large random areas of skin rashes on my back, my waist, my upper chest, and my upper hands. There are also red spots on tights too like mosquito bites but wider. I don't wanna see how my ass doin lol but it's not itchy. I'm glad the virus don't attack the genital area. You maybe wonder how I control the desire not to scratch'em. The anti-allergies have sleepy effect on me, but you know, we never know what we do when we're sleeping. I never know how long my hands are scratching unconciously until I awake. Moreover, sweats can trigger the itchiness worse, and this is dry season. Welcome to incredible summer curse.

The current risk is I have been doing research during this medical phase: every antivirus has the same side effect. If I take another antivirus and it fails, the curse will appear more. If I keep drinking the same antivirus, there will be no bigger progress. I would probably die of too much scratching lol. It needs a careful decision. It may be fatal but we never know until we try. The doctor kindly helped me finding an alternative. That's why I decided to spend the current antivirus first, then change it immediately.

No one expects some little red dots can turn into like burnt skin. It never burns anyway, just fucking itchy.

8/21/2015
Wow, seven days of not having shower and lying on bed all the time with tired feeling. Being clean is great, yet in this case touching water means multiplying the bad bacteria. Water is the most effective media of disease widespread after the air you are breathing with, so watch out for your hygiene. The doctor said I should have been totally recovered today, if that was without allergy. -.-" I'm taking the new antivirus also with anti-allergies for prevention. Its dosage is higher, also more pricey, but it is made for overcoming EBV. It is good to see my ulcers turn into smaller dots which means soft foods are still needed. I have scream so much while medicating and it paid the price lols. I ate a portion of plain oatmeal with white tofu cuts faster for approximately 20 mins today and started chewing french fries slowly. Yes, fries. I didn't have any idea why dad bought me fries lol and thank god I can chew that because I'm bored to death with tasteless meals. Mom stared. X'D

An "island" created on my each underarm.

There is another little progress which shows that the redness of urticaria is fading gradually on one or two areas of body. It may take so looooong until the whole redness disappears. Its rate of itchiness may decrease a bit, as long as I avoid myself being sweaty so I'm using two fans in my room. It is more likely to make the temperature less of heat. Medicated skin powder and Acyclovir cream are supposed to give a better help. It may be a good sign and I hope the medic works faster. I'm worried of how long I should stay quarantined. I've abandoned my career. I've left my work. I've been a burden of my parents and my boyfriend. My brother doesn't care. Cats? I don't own any of them. :( I am alone. Deflated.

To be continued...

Poem Post #5: Shatters Shatter Shatter

Short poem inspired by the broken brooch, dedicated for the broken pieces all over the world. Enjoy!

Shatters Shatter Shatter
© 2015 Katarina Yuri

I do not own the illustration. Source: Pinterest.com

The shatters shatter shatter
So fragile it won't be better
Drop disorderly, what a manner
In a crowd won't be heard the clatter
Find the pieces like broken trust
Yet the tinies turn into specks of dust
Forsaken patience cauldron is now frozen
Too cold it stabs your every solitude bone

The shatters shatter shatter
My shadows wish it happened never
Fix it with regrets glue
Perfect figure won't come - it's true
Although it is alike not, it's you.

Lifehack: Fix Ma Brooch

O Greetings!
*with a bit sorrow feeling of depressed and shocked face*

How do you feel when you break something that you are supposed to take care of it the most? I hate to say this T_T

I love collecting brooches instead of wearing them often because I'm too afraid for breaking or making them dirty. One day, it happened. The only Victorian brooch I have fell down on the floor when I was trying to pin it on my work shirt. I don't know what it is made of, all I know is kind of stone, and it was shattered in pieces when it touched the ground.

There will be no other brooch like this huhuhu T_T

Why was I so sadly reckless T_T

Thinking I still could fix it, I gathered all stickable the pieces and left it in the drawer until I bought a strong adhesive glue.

Thank god it looked like a brooch again, even though there are pieces can't be flawlessly clinged. After all, I'm satisfied with my fixing.

Tadaaa~~
*and then mourning to see the rough cuts*

It may sound too serious, but I saw those pieces are like broken trust. In one time, we had ever done something that let our beloved ones down. We clearly saw the cracks, the scratches, or whatever it was, which are never be united. We could fix it, but would never be the same again.

Poem Post #4: Call Me Kartini - Collaboration with Maz Leon!

This poem was made by Maz Leon, my college friend, my senior, the popular and young Indonesian poets in his circle lol. It was originally made in Bahasa Indonesia but it was translated into English by me for our English Club bulletin board at college. This poem was dedicated to commemorate one of the well-known woman figures in Indonesia, Raden Ajeng Kartini, which was celebrated every April 21st.

Call Me Kartini
© 2015 Maz Leon & Katarina Yuri

We do not own the illustration.

The piece of past – I am
The voice that keeps timing – I am
The ordinary girl – I am
Kartini – call me by that name
For my ripples of weeping
Uncertainly keeps falling
Then it is written to you poignantly
Have you ever missed
or only just kissed?
No, I’m naked still
In mother’s womb that is quiet eternally
But listen please,
Listen to this singing scream
Just a name – I am
Who is called on a period of time
Who for a moment does sorrow squeal through a quill
Now Kartini is just memory
My piece of letter is hung in agony
I don’t know
Even though the light stays still
This desire with the whole hands of mine is prepared for a reason
Not for doing nothing
Not for raving
Also not for lively pretending
Be the gleam which is calming
Let the dark be exuviated, but you stay surely strong
May you hear them
In every kind of shapes
Kartini – call me by that name
This quiet singing belongs to me

What A Doomed Hectic Schedule

In an ashy empty room,
At the corner, I'm a gloom.
Imagining a wonder land of mushroom,
This pity life feels like the doom.
.
.
.
.

*doomed feeling*
Holy cat! Twenty four hours a day seem never enough that I sometimes wish for. What I really need is a plenty of time to look for some Gothspiration and write more about Gothy stuff or another product review and other things. The good thing is I'm trying to be able again to work on the drafts left on this abandoned blog. :(

This is truth, these days never let me do something peacefully alone. Nine hours of working, four hours of studying, another hours of doing household, homework and whatnot, and the hours left for a lacking sleep. Since when did a privacy become so expensive?

OK now cut that crap. This site is not for sighing. *put the collars high*

Lately I found myself exploring culinary stuff around Central Jakarta and West Jakarta, so I had been trying various yummy dines with my boyfriend during the college vacation. This thing makes us gain weights about 4-5 kilograms.. How much is it in pounds? xD

Now, the vacation was over which means I'm back into the college life, facing the papers for mid-term exam and being organized in the students organization of English major. I should write about this here.

The life of Corp Goth won't just end, it is about to be continue... Wish me luck (and some health) ! :)

Earth Day: Goths Can Go Green Too!

Earth Day is the time when you ever thought it's a bullshit, you realized (after so many busy things) that you have lived in a dying planet. Yeah, WE make it dying. Some of us have decided to make a change. Come on! Don't let those hippies alone. Let's save the world together, and here's what I can do regularly as a Goth:

1. Thrifting
source
I put it on number one because it is multi eco-friendly. By doing this, you have reused everything from garments to furnitures, recycled the materials, and you've got some money saved. Besides, you'll also find many great things that never come from modern stores nowadays.

2. DIY and Sewing
source
DIY-ing and sewing are the alternatives of thrifting or the opposite. You may have reduced the consumption of materials, and it increases your creativity. Honestly i can't really do a good sew - still trying.

3. Conserve The Energy
source
It doesn't mean that Goths LOVE darkness xD You don't have to change all bulbs with candles (the risk of fire is bigger eh?). What you need to do is use your window space (between the curtain) where the sunlight comes at the day. Turn the lamp off when you go out, when you don't need it and when you're about to bed. The same thing is also applied to another electrical appliances you often use like TV, radio, DVD, charger, computer, etc.

4. Save Water
source
It doesn't absolutely include to limit your drink! Well, I can't save much water in bathing because I need about 20-30 minutes to clean up (I just need more "privacy"). However, what I am able to do is wash clothes manually with cold water. I can't tell how many clothes I always wash but usually it needs 3 medium pails of water. I have to do this since i'm not allowed to own any kind of washing machine. However, if you have the machine, just remember to use it efficiently. The positive things I got are reduce the electricity usage, paid bills seemed fine, and it is good for exercise. Go muscle!
If you are not used to wash clothes manually, I suggest you to wash the dishes. Wet all the dirty dishes, turn off the faucet. Turn it on again when you want to clean them. It's more effective than you wash them one by one and let the water keeps flowing unused. Don't worry about the black nails, they stay cool still.

5. Support Dermatologically-Tested, No Animal Testing, and Organic Ingredients Cosmetics
source
I know that there are still many brands which do test on animal, but it is a good start to avoid them, or at least reduce the usage of those products. By doing this, you have saved the other living creatures from violation. The example is Oriflame which has launched EcoBeauty collection. I have used one of the products and wrote the review here, and you may check the website.

Furthermore, I don't mean to guarantee if a product is truly claimed to be eco-friendly. It can be just a marketing label. Just be aware and love your own skin more.

6. Donation or Garage Sale
source
Spare your time to collect all of old stuff you don't want to use anymore. Then, sort all of them by type whether you want to donate or make it on sale. You don't only take care of the environment, but you also help people around you.

7. Reuse Plastic Bag

Source

Plastic is a material which can't be decomposed naturally. I think it's better to use it again when you have something to bring, especially if it's wet and you don't want it inside your bag. If i'm out of plastic, i'll use fabric bag. I have plenty!

8. Dispose Garbage in Its Place
source
No need to say more about this. If there's no trash can around me, i usually keep it inside my pocket until i find a place to throw.

9. Public Transportation
source
Well, I do not own any car or motorcycle yet, so I go to work and college with a shared-ride vehicle. In my living place, I often use what are called Transjakarta, Mikrolet and Ojek. I make myself go by feet if my destination isn't too far.

10. Recycle, Reuse, Reduce, Revamp! Plus Lifehack-ing

Source

Hell yeah, revamping is such a fun activity. What you need is some stuff from the craft or material store, combined with sense of creativeness like DIY. Guess what? You'll see like you have a new item no one can find anywhere!

I may not have any tips to make a compost, or even to eat less meat. But you see what i've been doing this far. Of course, it depends on your living area. As for me, I live in the capital of tropical country, in a boarding house with my family.

source

How about you? What do you do to save our lifestyle without making it unspooky?
Don't forget to see this post by lovely Mary Rose about the Earth Day, Green is New Black
